Men have more muscle mass than women do. A pound of muscle burns more calories than a pound of fat, so they lose weight faster.So we r stressed working hard etc but DH is dropping pounds like no tomorrow!! Why is tbat??
When I was in Weight Watchers, they even told us the typical weight loss for women on the program was .5 to 1.5 pound the first week; but for men, it was 2-3 pounds or more the first week. They told us point blank that the men would drop weight faster than the women would.
