what a difference from the last time with OE cycle. Dr. M at SG was so positive. Measurements were "right on" and heart rate was 115 bpm and he said it should be at least 100. I m feeling cautiously optimistic but still nervous. Next ultrasound in 2 weeks and if that goes well, then graduation from SG!

I think we all are overwhelmed when an u/s goes well.
Enjoy it, you deserve it!

I did do a shared cycle. I did the 1:3 shared risk at Shady Grove. I have said it before - I can not say enough good things about Shady Grove. I am seen in the Annapolis office but have had all procedures at the Rockville office. Specifically I deal with Dr. Mottla. I struggled with the idea of donor eggs at first but dr. mottla was very up front and matter of fact about it. I am continually impressed with SG in that since the eggs were retrieved, there has never been a mention of a donor - simply IVF. Our donor that we chose is in school to be a nurse and it 23. She was a first time donor which concerned me but her health, looks and everything was right on what we were looking for. She produced 31 eggs - I was the primary recipient of the 3 and I received 11 eggs. We did a day 5 transfer (which I think is the key) and we have 2 grade A blastocysts frozen. We opted and Dr. Mottla and Dr. Widra were both supportive of transferring just one blastocyst. Please just ask if you have more questions.

Hearing all the positive feedback about SG on the board in the last couple of days makes me feel more confident with SG as out plan B. Wishing you a happy and healthy add'l 33+weeks!

One more hurdle and one more load off your mind. I am excited about your second u/s. Was the u/s external or internal?

Have a happy and restful 2 weeks!
