the ball is going through a severe dinosaur phase. it's ALL he talks about. he sleeps with his plastic dinosaurs, thinks we are a dinosaur family, watches "dino dan" and "dinosaur train" religiously, is constantly correcting me on which dinosaur is which... you get the picture.

eta: Happened to think, I loved Danny and the Dinosaur when I was younger. Probably will edit again. I love kids' books.

We found one at the library the kids LOVE - it's something like, "the day dinosaurs came with everything"... lemme see if I can find a link if they have it on amazon...

It may seem a little young for the Ball but our kiddos still ask for it a lot . Or, it might just be the stupid super high and low voices in which I read it. They've developed a rather sick sense of humor and love to make mommy look stupid. Already. Sigh.
Best,
Kenny

It's a series. DD loved them. There's one about when a dino is sick too.

If you use apps, get the Dinopedia app from Nat Geo. We got it on itunes. The boys LOVE this, it's the first thing they ask for in the morning upon waking "dinosaurs on daddy's ipad...pleeeaaaassssseeeee? OMG, they could look a this app 24/7...truly. I bought the book companion from amazon, which is useful when daddy (and his ipad) are away.

We have so many dino books, it's hard to remember them all. Here are a few:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/037585 ... 00_details

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/031249 ... 01_details

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/052545 ... 01_details

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/068971 ... 02_details (one of my favs, because the illustrations are amazing)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/006029 ... 00_details (I think this was the inspiration for the TV show)

If I can think of more, I'll add. Last year, we took the boys to the dino exhibit at the National History Museum in nyc and they went bonkers...didn't want to leave. It's so funny to me that such HUGE animals can be such a hit. My little guy LOVES anything t-rex...yet "t-rex big teeth" also gives him bad dreams...sigh
