By transfer its a mute point. You can ask your RE if he can provide the info for you.

So they aren't really looking for growth of lining thickness at transfer.

The ultrasound guidance at transfer is abdominal not vaginal, not sure they can check the thickness with just the abdominal u/s anyway.

comment on the lining, saying it looks nice and thick, but they didn't take new measurements.

I do not think there is much you can do after the transfer..the embryo usually implants 1-3 days after transfer..may be longer for a day 3 transfer..once it implants, there is no need to build the lining up more..it will do so naturally from the estrogen that will be produced naturally from the pregnancy.
Good luck to you and to answer your next question, no way to tell if the sperm is male or female without PGD or the other test mentioned..It'***** or miss with that..or depends on the sperm..

At egg retrieval day, I get an ultrasound and then start progesterone.
