Feeling very anxious. I've been moderately crampy all day and just went to the bathroom and have pink discharge. Of course my nurse is gone for the weekend. I know she told me not to worry about spotting but I'm panicking. I know it is probably to late to be implantation spotting. I also know there is probably nothing that can be done at this point. I'm going to give myself a little extra PIO and see if that helps. I'm only taking half the PIO I was taking with old RE on SG protocol.

Sorry this is happening, because it's scary. But it doesn't mean anything. We all know that such symptoms can not be relied upon to mean anything at all. They're just there, and we don't know why they happen sometimes and not others. It's so hard to hold on to that knowledge when we're in the middle of scary symptoms, but it's still true. Big hug to you. Is there something you can do help assuage your nerves? Something that you enjoy that relaxes you? Watching a movie, knitting, meditation, whatever will help you relax for YOU, not to try to get rid of those symptoms. I'm rooting for you, hang in there. Keep us posted on how you're feeling. Big huge hug.

I'm just stopping by while I'm pumping bm for my twin babies. After many chemicals and some losses I know how scary seeing any bleeding can be but I just wanted to share my experience with both of my last two pgcies. I had spotting with both but with the twins I had spotting and quite severed cramping as well....I should have known there was more than one. Also, the spotting was right around the day 7 and 8 time that you are at right now...with a 5 day blast. I wouldn't mess around with your progesterone if I were you...but that is your call. I don't think this is a sign that the pgcy is not going well...but the reverse...it's probably going great! Looking forward to hearing your first beta results.

Blessings from Hope

However, I think this is not necessarily a bad sign. My successful cycle I had cramping and some spotting. I don't remember what day it was, but I think it was about the same time. Hoping that this is the case.

but please look at my post from last Fri where I absolutely cracked on 8dp5dt, because I was having bad cramping and some spotting. I went on to find success (at least with my first 2 betas -fingers crossed) - it's upsetting and terrifying but try to hang in there - it's not over yet. Sending hugs. SMRC

Hi,
Do increase the PIO as it can't hurt and may help. Also note that the pink discharge may be a good sign. I recall after implantation it took a few days until I had that pink discharge occur. Hold fast and stay calm. I"m hoping things are ok for you. I had two bleeding episodes when pg try not to worry (hard to do I know), best, THK

I have had good experiences getting hold of a nurse at SG over the weekend even if it is not your nurse. Leave a message on the machine. Maybe the duty nurse can talk you down off the edge so to speak. I would not be surprised at all if what you are experiencing is nothing to worry about (easier said then done, I know!)

Take care and I am sending you positive mojo over the internet....

..as everyone else has already said. I think you're in great shape. And, to be honest, your post made me smile because I've been worried that I'm NOT having any spotting. Cramping, yes, but spotting, no. sigh...

Waiting is torture.
