Hi, he is ok and is back home now. He woke from his morning nap looking very flushed and puffy in the face, he wouldn't eat anything and wasn't getting any better as time wore on.
We spent a total of 5 hours there. It was ok. I had to get P to go inside where they treat patients and hold him. I"ve got tennis elbow in both arms from constantly lifting him and the pram so I couldn't hold him for long. I'd just been to the physio (accupuncture and general pummeling megga ouch) and have bandages on both arms so must have looked a right nong.
The doctors said that he is ok just fighting off the croup as best his immune system can. We are all coughing, all have runny noses and temperatures. Its fun city here.

P is home for the third day in a week - a day looking after us last friday then two days ill for him as well.
Before we rushed to the hospital I slipped on a rubber mat outside and fell onto the corner of baby jail. I was ok yesterday but today feel like I've been hit by a truck (bruising), thanks for listening, best, THK

I hope you are all well soon. Sounds grueling! Don't forget that taking tylenol or ibuprofen could help your bruises feel better.

I can hear ds coughing in his sleep as I write this. It is hard to see them ailing!

it seems like forever that you've been ill. Hell, we've had TWO bugs in the time it's taken you to get through one....
Not that I'd wish the tummy bug from hell that we've all had, on my worst enemy.
Hope you get better fast from here on in.

I've never had or been around the croup, but it does't sound like fun. And you are bruised and bandaged up too. Yikes! Maybe you can all just try and sit still and eat some hot chicken soup It's really tough when everyone is feeling sick.

I know how it is; I have tendonitis, too, and while I've been doing OK, Bob weighs thirty-something pounds now and has decided to become a clingy toddler. As for the accident, yeah, it always feels as though there's some insult to add to injury when kids are sick. Hoping you and Roberto feel better soon! Maggie (in VA)

Hi,
We are off to the doctor again today. Everything is green if you know what I mean. Nobody is sleeping from coughing. R is miserable and getting listless. He is sleeping longer and has low energy. He isn't getting any better and neither am I. My sister told me this morning she had something like this last year for two months and to get megga high strength antibiotics.
thanks for all you kind thoughts. I've a wopper of a bruise (darkest purple) down my side.
Last night I remembered we had glyscerin in the cupboard so resorted to sipping that - the coughing finally stopped and i drifted off.
thanks for caring, THK
