He is in the hospital with dehydration, pneumonia and suspicious xray. Doctor suspects lung cancer and will do a biopsy. My step mother is there but she is fruitless she knows nothing, so you can imagine what I am going through him in Georgia me in Virginia. He is 85 years old and I often think neglected by my step mother who is 17 yrs younger. So I need prayers for him and our family. I am staying positive that what ever it is, it is treatable and he has the strength to deal with the treatment, he has always been relatively healthy, we just celebrated his sisters 90th birthday party in January. So if anyone can tough it out, its him. Just pray for him as well as the rest of the family. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters, my mom passed away years ago.

So sorry, Dee. I sincerely hope it isn't lung cancer.

I'm so sorry, Dee. Can't you talk directly to the doctors and/or nurses? If your father is still cognizant, he can give permission to the medical staff to release information to you. You could also state that you wish to be the family contact person, so that all info comes to you.

Hoping for the best outcome for him.

and hopeful thoughts your way.

Can you visit him? I know it must be so hard when you have so much on at home.

Hoping he will get better soon.

Best and kindest wishes,
Daisy
