I've been off the board for a while due to scanty internet connections but Telecom have sorted it today.

One of my maids took the twins for a walk in the stroller around the parks and lake where I live and the story is that Anton wanted to get out of the stroller and was in a bad mood and pushed the stroller down a hill, it tumbled over with Allanah in it and she hit her face on a rock. She fell out and the stroller continued upside down into the lake. I think she is fairly lucky to be alive but looks an awful mess. I just hope the bruises go completely and don't leave any marks. She was kept in for observation but no broken bones or any cuts requiring stitches.

Receiving a phone call in the middle of a clinic was the most distressing thing I have ever had to deal with. The maid was distraught screaming that Anton had pushed Allanah in the lake. It took me a good 10 minutes to find out if she was still alive and that she was out. I am still in shock and have my moments of crying, I don't know out of sheer relief or shock.

I'm glad she's OK. Very, very scary. I try not to think about it, but on some level I'm always wary that life can change in an instant with kids (& adults, too, of course). So, so glad she's OK.

I can imagine you are still shaken up.
I hope you can take a little time and relax with your two little ones and hold them close (yes of course in addition to your other kiddos)
Hold tight and you'll all heal up well.

I hope she heals up soon and you recover from the shock. That would be really scary for everyone.

It is bad enough to be there when your child gets hurt, but to get that call when you are at work and can not put your eyes on your child...I know that was incredibly scary! I literally teared up, and the hairs on my arms stood up, thinking of getting that call from somebody, and not knowing your child was doing, and not being able to get to them quickly enough!

I am SOOO glad that Allanah is fine, and I just hope that she recovers quickly and that you can exhale... Give her BIG hugs from her aunties!!!

I'm just imagining the worst case scenario, and it is truly horrifying. Thank God she fell out, even though she was hurt in the process. Prayers for quick and complete healing...
