Today was my 6 week u/s and there are two gestational sacs, 2 yolks and 2 heartbeats!

I am happy but a bit numb at the same time. I will be more comfortable if all is well after the 8 week u/s.

DH is thrilled! It is nice to see him finally happy after such a long road.

Twins! Oh, my!

I hear you on the feeling better after each U/S. The hardest time is always right before the next one.

Congratulations, Christine!

I get such a tingle when I hear about ladies moving over from the green board. A huge congrats are in order. Honestly though, the stress doesn't go away.... it just shifts focus! Motherhood is being in a glorious state of constant vulnerability.

Wonderful news on the twinkies! Hearing both heartbeats at 6 weeks is a great sign!

double congratulations. I'm so very happy for you but I know how hard it is to really feel joy FILLED when you have had past sadnesses. It's what it is....for now though you are pg with two babies so I will rejoice for you...this time last year I was very happily pg with my twin girls who were born a month early on our (Canada's) Victoria long weekend. I do remember being so worried as well early on... even though my acupuncturist used to say the mantra, 'this is a new day'...meaning just because there had been losses in the past, that didn't mean that that story would be recorded over and over...we do have to think positive, even if we don't feel it at first...fake it until you make it is a phrase that comes to mind.

I'm glad that you are a new Christine...welcome, welcome, welcome to the pink board...CAN YOU believe IT?

many blessings for a lovely, easy, healthy twin pgcy...I had one and it was glorious.

Always, Hope

Welcome to the pink side. May it be a wonderful and smooth ride. You've already had the big rollercoaster.

I am just now trying to get caught up on the boards. It has been so crazy trying to get last minute details in order, that I haven't had a chance to get on the board. Just know that I have been thinking of you and cheering for you every step of the way. I just love to see a green girl move on to this board.

I am so excited for you and can't wait to follow the rest of the journey and for us to be sharing parenting tips!

It's always such a special day when a Green Girl graduates! I know how weird you feel. I felt seriously deranged in the early part of my pregnancy - not happy at all. Expecting something bad to happen every second. I felt at bit better once I got to 20 weeks and had a very detailed scan - but really it was still tricky, just more manageable, up to birth.

Good luck and keep breathing. You couldn't have had a better start.

I know the feelings you are having, but just take one day and one step at a time. Hope that you have a smooth easy pregnancy. So glad to see you posting here.
