With the demise of the Register-News forum circa 2010, this popular item vanished. I and others found it very useful info. Before I head out the door to shop in the morning or evening, I always consult this list first. It saves a lot of disappointment. It seems like the stores all change their hours from time to time, so it needs updating periodically. Some of the info can be found online, but some only by calling on the telephone or visiting the store. Please let me know about corrections, changes, and additions. The idea is not to make a huge list by adding every store in Mt Vernon, but only those which we visit regularly/frequently. At least you can probably use it as a starting point to make your own customized list.

This was a popular item back in Register-News forum days, time to bring it up to date. Offhand I know there is no Sears store here anymore, and the Big Lots hours are now 9-9/7. Others can be filled in by you or me. Whoever does it can then post a complete updated list of Store Hours in Mt Vernon. Thanks.

Again, the idea is limit it to just that info, also only include stores where you actually shop.
