Hello,
I am researching my Grandparents Josephine Stakeliunas, who came to the US in 1896. Her father is Kazmirieras Stakeliunas lived in a small town/village on his farm outside Kaunas. Two brothers, Anthony who came to the uS in 1910 and a brother who stayed on the farm, but died young. A branch of the family may have immigrated to Argentina also.
Josephine married George Jurewiczus, the only info I have on my grandfathr is he was from Vilnius.
Any help/ideas/ect would be appreciated!

The reference to Vilnius likely refers to the province (called gubernia in Russian) rather than the city itself which was the provincial capital for the Vilnius/Vilna/ gubernia.

Can you provide the details as to where your grandparents lived in the U.S. and when/where they died as well as what records you have found so far (e.g., U.S. census entries from 1940 and earlier).

No sense people finding records you already have.
