Paul,

Looking for people who may still be alive in the U.S. is difficult because of privacy laws. It is really a task for a private investigator rather than a genealogist. You might have some luck using people searching or online phone books or facebook, but the range of options will be quite limited.

Paul,

If they arrived on 11 March 1950 from Germany (likely Bremerhaven), they would have been aboard the U.S. Army Transport General Hersey.

Have you contacted the ITS in Germany to see what records they might have on the family you are researching?

Tom - thanks - the family in Detroit are related to my family in Lithuania. Bronius was the brother of Jonas gladkauskas, who married maryte lukoseviciute . Their som Rimvydas Gladkauskas lost touch with the family. I am looking for Aldon, the daughter of Bronius, who had 4 children according to verbal records
