Just got one in my change. It's very crisp. Wondering if this is possible, or if it might be counterfeit.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi...hard to say without seeing the note. It's possible that someone had it saved and someone else decieded to spend it.Send me a scan like to see if I notice anything but it will be hard to judge it from a scan.
If this note is real and it has no folds then the note would have a retail value of $25.Any folds then the note drops near face value.

Hi..now your note is different than the 1950B your saying a 1950 with no suffix on the series year.On this series if the back plate check number which are the small numbers on the back lower right are 1390-1456 the note would have a preiumum even in circulated grades. If the note does not have these check numbers then it probably only worth face value. If you have these numbers then e-mail me a scan and I can tell you an approximate value.

Hi...I am afraid your note is common to collectors. In circulated grades $10-$15 at best.

Hey I'm confused. I have a 1950 Ten dollar bill on the front of the bill it says federal Reserve Bank of New York. Inside it it has a B. The number on the back says 1500. You said it only goes up to 1456. So I took a closer look and it says:
SERIES
1950
A

So this bill I have is not a B series its an A series? Now how about the number on the back right hand corner it says 1500

You said that you have a 1950 $10 dollar bill and that it had a line on the top of the bill like it possibly could have been a misprint or something. May I ask...was the line small?..like short and black in color? I have a 1950 $10 green note (which is a $10 bill but with green seal and serial number) and mine is a B series....you can usually tell by whatever ever big letter is in the center of the seal. But if you could please let me know if you found out about the small line on the top of the bill, the info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Tiffany
