based on the increasing popularity of these great discussions in the conflicts forum, I bring you another contraversial topic.

Questions to take into consideration
-Is this 'technically' legal? Doesn't it involve the killing of an unborn child?
-Is it efficient enough to outweigh it's negative points?
-Is it morally the right thing to do, as it is technically cloning?
-Does stem cell research help towards a greater cause? 1 life to save millions?
-What are your views on this from a religious standpoint, if you are religious?

Once again, I'll post my opinions after I see others

i'm religious, but i love science! so i dont know what to say i think stem cell is great and can save many lives. It kills a life to others but what if that life that is killed is someone great, is it worth saving a wealthy person and his failed body part because he has the money to.

These cells also appear in the human body in bone marrow. Though the stem cells from babies are even less specialised than those from bone marrow, so it is more usefull for scientists.

Maybe if you post your opinion now this topic gets going. I'm not sure what to think of it myself, but lean to the scientific opinion. When to consider a child child enough?

Unlike Falco :p

Personally, I'd rather they stuck to stem cells from bone marrow. Using unborn babies is a bit....wrong imo.
