The goalie thread took me back to my 1st game I'm as sure as I can be it was Chelsea with bonetti in goal we won 2-0 but I will never forget the feeling I got walking up the steps and into the south stand took my breath away even though the ground was not full from memory but just seeing the kop which will have been 13,000 full never forget that feeling

5-0 Win, I can always remember the old man saying you won't have seen this many people in one place. Remember been fucking amazed looking down the West Stand car park.
The first chants I ever remembered were "we want 4 we want 4" then "we want 5 we want 5". Sounds a bit tame now but to 6 or 7 year old it hooked me for life.
Thinking back I think this is the lowest ebb we are experiencing now, I'm praying Bates fucks off.

I was sat in the west stand as a kid, can't remember how old I was but remember us battering them 6 nil and I think tommy wright got a hat trick unless someone can tell me different. I thought I could get used to this.

By the way, Bates die you cunt!!!

1974 Leeds v Ipswich, totally amazed as an eight year old, sat in the north west corner. Taken to the match by my dads friend as my dad didn't like football. I'd been to Headingley with my dad a few times for the rugby, but never seen, or heard, any thing like that day before. Also, remember been a bit confused when Leeds fans started singing "Hunter's gonna get ya" Only for the Ipswich fans to join in with the same song!

For you young lads out there, Ipswich also had a hard case called Hunter!

Was in goal and the next was David Stewart or vice versa, must have been around 1976
