Hi,
LID commands like dbdef, pgmdef, jobdef etc., are not working. Has anybody encountered the same problem? Please suggest.

Did you install a new version of LID. I had a similar problem when I installed the wrong version of LID. Does it happen from multiple computers with LID?

"Not working"? Are you receiving any type of error?

It's just God's way of telling you to use LawTerminal... :coffee:

Give us some error messages. It sounds like the issues are with the interactive forms, so make sure your TERM=pt80-e and LATERM=univwin.

DO NOT set TERM=univwin!!

If you do not have any errors and the commands simply hang, I've seen that happen if LASE is "stuck".

The easiest way to determine that - do

coung gen user

from command line. If that also hangs without any errors, restart of Lawson is the only solution.

Restarting it all is a possibility, but you might try just restarting lase - Yes, you can do that..
