Ugh! Need to learn how to win on the road.
Finished better than expected. Good group coming back. Add the incoming froshman. Next year should be fun.

Colgate’s Matt Langel got a five-year extension as head coach. I’d thought that job would be a career-killer but he’s recruited well.
Langley replaced Coach Davis, a good guy and good coach, and it’s working out for the Raiders.

I think Emmett Davis is definitely a good guy - but not a good coach.  No championships and one final in 13 years.  Only two semi-finals in his last 11 years.  Overall PL tournament record of 5-13.   Overall PL regular season record of 79-97.       Langel, otoh, is a good coach.   Not sure he will be able to sustain the success however, having graduated three key players and with his freshman and sophomore classes each having only one good player.  Also his incoming class at the moment is weak.   I imagine he is trying to pick up a couple of transfers.  Colgate should compete for the first division in 2018-19 but then you may see a downward slide.   I would bet his five year contract has a cheap buyout, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him move on within two years.
