Sunlight poured over the streets of Camelot lighting up the city in an almost divine glow. Tossing ebony locks over her shoulder Lily hurried through the bustling streets zigzagging her way back to her market stall or rather the baker's stall, she had been fortunate to find employment so quickly after her impromptu arrival in Camelot and although selling bread might not have been her ideal job she was more than grateful for it.

City life was so different to anything Lily had ever known her quiet life on the farm seemed eons ago, there was always something to do or see in Camelot leaving no time to dwell on the past; a factor that she certainly didn't lament.

Sights, sounds, smells, bombarded her senses and she soaked up every last detail. Two weeks she had been here now and every day still felt as though it were the first. But perhaps she should have been more focused on the task at hand; the tray dropped from her grasp scattering freshly baked rolls everywhere as she collided with the figure whilst the impact sent her reeling backwards, tripping over a loose stone she ended up falling on to her rear landing with a soft thump.

An old woman helped her to her feet. "You should be more carefull my dear." The old woman commented with a smile.

What this young innocent girl didn't know is that this sweet old woman was really Morgause in disguise.

"Are you all right my dear?"

Internally, Morgause was smiling, this young, innocent girl, might make the perfect spy. She blended in perfectly, and from her appearance, could benifit from a few extra gold coins in her pocket.

Still a little stunned from the fall Lily allowed herself to be helped to her feet without comment, but when the kindly old woman's words sunk in Lily smiled at her gratefully, "I'm fine thank you. I'm so sorry about that - I'd offer you a bread role but I don't suppose you'd want one now" the young woman smiled ruefully as she observed the unfortunate scene around her.

"Thank you for helping me" Lily only wished that she could give her something in return. What a nice old lady, it had certainly been fortunate to have walked into her and not one of Camelot's guards, they certainly wouldn't have been so kindly about it.

The old woman smiled. "It seems to me you work hard my dear but don't get paid nearly enough.

If I were to offer you some gold to perform a small task, do you think you could be kind to and old woman such as I?"

What a dear old woman, smiling Lily didn't hesitate to reply, "I'm sure that would be no problem, what can I do to help you?" Lily's day might not have been off to a good start but it semed that things were looking up, she'd made a nice new acquaintance and the promise of a few more coins to line her purse was always welcome.

"My name is Lily by the way and you are?" strange that she hadn't thought to introduce herself sooner but never mind names didn't always matter. Remembering the fallen bread rolls the young women began to collect the few remaining rolls that hadn't already been snatched up by hungry children and stray dogs.

Hmm perhaps the promised coins would have to go to the baker for losing most of this batch.
