Rules of this Board

Da Rulez

1.) No spamming. Make sure whatever you post is insightful, and contains at least one sentence.

2.) No disrespect of other people's opinions. If somebody likes Chen Ying better than Guan Yu, it's their own damn right! You can use support from the novel, if you wish, however, to show why you think that Guan Yu or Chen Ying was better than the other.

3.) Remember that this is a forum for discussion on the novel. Comparisons between the novel and history of the three kingdoms can be discussed in this board, but outright debate on the history of the three kingdoms should be done in the other 'Three Kingdoms' forum. The moderator of this forum, Zhang Liang, will deem what is appropriate for this forum and what is appropriate for the other. Any additional rules he decides to make on this board or the other should be followed by all members.

4.) Several other obvious rules featured in other boards on Koei Warriors apply here. Do not post pornography, do not go off-topic in a section, and do not troll at others or start needless flame wars with other members. Treat others as you would want to be treated, and remember above all to look through this forum before making a topic. If you make a duplicate of a topic already on a board, or if what you wish to discuss can be legitimately discussed in another thread, do not make a new topic.

This Board's Purpose

This board is for discussion on the novel, Sanguo Yanyi (known more commonly as Romance of the Three Kingdoms in North America and Europe). Romance of the Three Kingdoms was written by Luo Guanzhong sometime during the Ming dynasty. It ranks high as one of China's best novels, and is what Dynasty Warriors and many other Three Kingdoms games are based on. For those who do not know much about the three kingdoms history, though have read the book Romance of the Three Kingdoms, this is the board for you!

An online version of the novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, can be found at . If you wish to search for your favorite characters in the novel, you can use Kongming Archive's Encyclopedia to find the novel appearances of any given character. Characters who's novel appearances are not listed there can be located by using a nifty google search created by the founder of Kongming's Archives, James Peirce.

To use it, simply replace the Sun Jian in quotes with whatever character you want to find.

Sticky and Lock this, Zhang Liang, after you've finished posting whatever additional rules you feel are necessary for this board. I'll leave it up to you whether you want to seperate this into two sticky and locked threads or keep rules and information combines into one topic.
