Boom. Here's Raw Meat, a conversion of the first level of the third episode of Duke Nukem 3D designed by Richard "The Levelord" Bailey. I'm releasing it right now because my autism seems to prevent me from doing anything else until this thing is shipped. Fixed the lighting, fixed some collision issues, and... something else I completely forgot about. The map is rather large, with 16 deathmatch spawn points (+1 single player start), 2 crowbars, 2 heavy machine guns (+4 magazines and 2 cooling sleeves), 3 tommy guns (+7 drums), 1 flamethrower (+4 tanks), 2 grenade launchers (+7 grenades), 2 rocket launchers (+7 rockets), 3 shotguns (+8 shells boxes), 3 pistol sets (magnum mod + reload speed + rate of fire). Map source included.

Thanks! I think it's finally complete, I'm leaving a test download if anyone wants to give it a go. Tell me what you think, I'll fix everything you'll find and will release a proper package when it's all clear.

Hi,

I like the improvements you have made. The cash register looks better and the TV texture is good. I like the new layout of the outside area.

I did prefer the lighting for the outside area in the earlier version and the adrenaline is hard to get.

Its a good mix of Kingpin and Duke3D :)

Thanks! I padded the top of the rock with a clip brush so it's much easier to reach the adrenaline (no more sliding). I'll see what I can do about the lighting (I tried ten different configurations and I'm still not a huge fan of it... but I'll figure it out eventually)

Great effort, but it makes me sad, thinking how great Duke Nukem Forever on the Quake 2 engine would have been!

Regarding the map, i hope you make it somewhat brighter, it's just too dark currently, and no flashlights anywhere.

I'll up the lights a bit and will re-up the revision (I'm thinking about joining the kitchen with the water area via a trash chute behind the double doors, so the flamethrower could only be accessible from that side).
