Hello Mark,

In 1962 both the Jay Publishing and Team issued picture pack photos were sold. Team issues were made by Jay Publishing but ordered, and issued by the Yankees exclusively for sale at Yankees Stadium. After 1950 the Team Issued sets have the players name, followed by "Yankees", instead of "New York Yankees" as the Jay Publishing sets.

Team sets can be dated by using a checklist, by matching the unique combination of players to that year. Sometimes a single player only appear for a single year making it easier. Theses players are noted with an asterisk*

The Yankees team issued set consisted of 14 players
1- Luis Arroyo
2- Yogi Berra
3- John Blanchard*
4- Clete Boyer
5- Bob Cerv
6- Whitey Ford
7- Elston Howard
8- Tony Kubek
9- Hector Lopez
10- Mickey Mantle
11- Roger Maris
12- Bobby Richardson
13- Bill Skowron
14- Bob Turley

The 1962 Jay Publishing set consisted of 12 players
1- Luis Arroyo
2- Yogi Berra
3-John Blanchard*
4- Clete Boyer
5- Bud Daley*
6- Whitey Ford
7- Ralph Houk MG
9- Mickey Mantle
10- Roger Maris
11- Bobby Richardson
12- Bill Skowron

Team issues were made by Jay Publishing but ordered, and issued by the Yankees exclusively for sale at Yankees Stadium. After 1950 the Team Issued sets have the players name, followed by "Yankees", instead of "New York Yankees" as the Jay Publishing sets.

In general both the Jay Publishing(12) and the team issue(14)1962 New York Yankees Picture Pack photos are worth about $35.-$75. in excellent to near mint condition. Add value with the original envelope. -Steven KeyMan
