The fuel system for my TR3 doesn't appear to be working.  No fuel is  making it to the carburetor float chamber.   When I turn the motor over, no fuel comes out at the connection to the carburetor.  I installed a new fuel pump and blew out the fuel line between the pump and carburetor with compressed air (When I disconnect the line at the top of the pump, fuel came out).  Although the glass bowel on the pump is full, I also blew out the line from the pump to the tank with shop air. When I put my finger on the end of the fuel line, I can feel some slight suction as the motor turns over. It is possible to install the fuel in correctly?  The underside of the lever is the part that contacts the cam, correct?

If I remember correctly the lever goes on the top of the cam which is the bottom of the lever. There is a flat on the bottom of the lever and that goes onto the top of the cam. Boy, long time since I heard anyone using the stock pump. It will not work if the top of the lever is put under the cam lobe, very easy to make that mistake..

It shouldn't suck back from the carbs though, even with the lever under the cam (which usually breaks one of them).  Sounds like your new pump is defective (has the check valves installed wrong).

Original pump works fine on the street, just needs to be rebuilt with the right diaphragm to withstand gasohol.
