80 songs recorded?!?

that seems alot...

i have to say, at least ONE unreleased track would have been nice.

It's my favourite album but already have all these tracks a few times over...

You are right Danger but If you didn't buy the Heat Singles or the 50 Boxset
then you have never heard these songs before and they fit perfectly on the album.
These are the tracks Jimmy wanted on the Album originally but was restrict to 16 tracks.

fair enough. but if it is true about 80 other tracks, it would have been nice to have a 3rd disc of rarities/video clips/live tracks. I would have gladly paid a lot more for it.

i do think, with the exception of Love Will Find a Way, the extra tracks on this are SUPERB. But i do already have them so will have to think hard if it is worth shelling out again....

Not really to sure who these re-releases are aimed at the diehards already have the extra tracks and i,m not sure the extra tracks will get the casual listener to buy the cd.the last re-release of wcm came with the concert dvd which made it worth while shelling out for the same product again, woulda been great if the re-release of heat came with a live dvd or cd i would happily have shelled out out more bucks to get something different but i have 4 copies of wcm 3 copies of heat i think thats enough until the record company re-releases a cd with something new to go with it.Jb has such a loyal following but it,s starting to feel a little like the record companies are taking the piss. and before i get the usual i know i dont have to buy it i just want re-releases to have something to appeal to the people who have supported jimmy for years

I looked it up in the Heat press/bio I recieved from the (australian) Barnstormers fanclub in where Jimmy says there were about 50 songs recorded. so 80 is not exactly true - appologies! But 50 is still a lot. I already have 3 versions of the Heat album, 2 sweat it out singles, 3 stone cold, 3 right by your side and 2 stand up singles. That's enough for me but on the other hand if the Köln concert was added on a dvd....
