What a night Manchester my home town never ever could i imagine i would be watching Chisel on my home ground iv always had it in my head that if they play Germany or Holland i would be there but 20 miutes from my house Sorry if im going on but im still living the dream.
It was great to meet up with old friends Jak and Trudi from the Barnstormers Mag Pete Mitchell A true fan and collector like myself Peter nightingale again a true fan also Ade no need for introduction there it must of been the Stowe School gig last time i saw Ade plus many more who was in the pub names escape me .
Seeeing Chisel play was a dream for me but to meet the guys as well and they are the nicest band you could meet they must of spent 30 minutes outside in the rain having pictures with us and signing lots of my CDs All i can say is thank you .
The only sad part of the day was when i was chatting to Don i asked him if he thought that Chisel would make it back to the UK he said that after tonights gig in Mancheter that was it they had no plans for Chisel( no pun intended )he said it might be up to two years before they do something again lets hope they dont take that long.

Sounds like a great night and awesome to see Chisel appreciated in other parts of the world.
I'm a little surprised that Don is saying there are no plans currently for Chisel. The band has a higher profile than ever, is bringing in new generations of fans, has just put out a great new album and in my opinion has the maturity and commercial appeal to take on and be successful in markets outside Australasia. Also going on comments and rumours here and there I wouldn't be surprised if they had enough material to pull together another quality album pretty quickly.
With the appreciation now that time could be short and we never know what tomorrow will bring, it seems the ideal time for the guys to keep on striving to bring the greatest rock band of all time to a worldwide audience.
But the guys know what they are doing, I just appreciate all that they have done since the Telstra show, it has been amazing. At least if there is a bit of a break in activity we might see some of the footage released from this period (and the Sweetwaters show please) that we have been yearning for for so long

I can only reiterate what John has said, fantastic gig in Manchester UK.
I know people over here seem to go on after a gig with JB / Chisel but we rarely get to see them and virtually will never hear them on our radios so when we do see them it is extra special for us.

Regards some more info on the Manchester Gig, link to some video interviews before and after.
