Still looking good and colorful! A beard truly fit for a viking.

I love your beard ferns!  The mustache beard combo is seamless and perfect.  I'm partial to the bald head with the beard as well.  Also love the Duff shirt.  The yeard will be hear before you know it.

What an awesome change through the weeks.  You have one of the most beautiful red beards around.  I am so jealous of your man mane.  I certainly hope that your yeard is a first goal, and wondering to see what you have in the future.

Arhrrh! All your praises and good spirits fill me with joy and confidence. Thank you all! To read such powerful words and know they come from the hearts of true men is as large as life can be. You put a smile on me :)

Dano - My friend. I hope you've caught your breath again. It would be a sad sad day for all of us to lose your benevolent and jouful spirit.

Tom - I blame Duff Man!

Filou - You're growing strong my french ami and if you are growing 'till Christmas we might very well be joining further ventures. I am not entirely sure of what I am planning to do in 4 weeks when I'll hit the Yeard - But I'll be sure to report in.

Lettusaurus - A Firebeard for a fiery soul! What could possibly be more appropriate, right? ;)

WB - A beard fit for a Viking ... You made me smile by that comment. Usually/What I often read on the internet is that a beard makes you look like a viking. The difference is subtle but it has a world of meaning in differnce. I'll take your compliment on any given day. Thanks!

imaginary - I'll have to give my self some more time on this board. I am way behind in following all you good peoples thoughts and sharings... And tbh I miss it. Thanks for dropping by and being here :)

Dirk! - If two bearded neighbours were meant to share a beer it would certainly be the two us. We will make this happen some day. Maybe at a german beer/beardfest? Cheers and thanks for praise and good spirit!

Johnsow - Your words will be treasured and get me through on a "bad beard day".

beardedfather - You shouldn't be jealous but I know what you mean. You bring so much good to this board and just seeing your avatar automatically makes my lips curve upwards. I promise to let you know what the future brings. As you might have read on several occasions I'm not sure what I'll do after the Yeard - But I promise you two things; I will NOT be beardless ever and I will not do anything hasty.

Panda! - I raise my glass. Cheers!

Dave - Your words are full and good. I'm happy you reached my thread and I will return to yours as soon as life permits it.

Bless you all!

I didn't post last week (47) - I was quite busy. Here's the reasons:

Week 48 is now.
Just out of the shower. Some towel dry. No brush, no products. I like it a LOT!

Hello World.jpg

In one month my yeard is fullfilled. 7th October.
The next day I will turn 41 and wake up smiling for giving my self a bearded birthday gift.

Hearty hails!

Thanks deco! The picture I like the most from the wedding beardwise was the "Husband" picture.

A moment.jpg
There is not a lot of colours shining through and it's not a massive beard (But enough to, almost, hide the butterfly :p) But there is just something primal, biological and ancestral about it. It belongs.

Danny - Even though there might be times (as this) where I won't show my spirit to often and spread my vibes throughout the board, I will never leave my friend. You are too fine a group to let go.
As to growing a full beard - I feel better and better. I still struggle with issues like lack of density and wild stragglers, but all in all I know I'm on the right path.
My concerns typically shows up when I start using balms and waxes to make my beard look neat. Like it was carved in stone or something alike.
Even though my spirit roars to let it be natural another side of me demands everything to be neat, respectable and corporate.
I know it's an inner struggle and not what the outside is telling me - But it's still a hard argument to settle on.

Last week my city celebrated it's 575th birthday and there was a whole lot of festivities going on - The theme being; Warvick as it was in the Middle Age.
Besides being at the wedding I HAD TO be there. Not wanting to miss all the sword fighting, beer drinking and chain dancing.
To my great and unexpected pleasure I was greeted numerous times by both women and men complimenting my grand beard.

So... I still feel complete and great - But also a bit struggling from within.

Hi Ferns. Your beard is looking huge. I'll be trying to pop on the board a bit more often now as all the 'yeard journeys' that started around the same time as mine come to a close.

That is a shovel beard if I ever saw one, and brilliant red at that.  Looking great.
