Hi Guys,
Just checkin in -- not much has changed with me.  I've maintained the short beard I grew over Thanksgiving and have nothing but positive feedback -- wish I'd tried to grow one 30 years ago!  I hope everyone is enjoying some time off this summer.

Sill looking good. I did wish I could have grown 30 years ago, but my follicles did not corporate back then.

The more my facial hair follicles cooperate the less my scalp hair follicles cooperate!

There does tend to be a correlation. My scalp hair remain thick until my mid 40's, about the same time my beard thickened and reached maturity.

Doc! Great to see you. Your beard is so damn dense. I would gladly swap my head hair for more beard.

Agree, given a choice I would choose beard hair over head hair. Head hair is so overrated. Beard hair is awesome.

DanoM and Slybeard -- I've always admired both of your beards -- no comparison. You've got another 10-20 years before your hairloss starts Dano -- your DHT will catch up with you eventually.

Great to see an update of your patented super thick beard. Don't worry about the hair loss - I'm actually surprised you have this much hair loss on top - it's not at all noticeable in pics taken from different angles.

In any case, when the hair loss gets more prominent, you can just shave the whole scalp - this will also be a good look with your beard.

Hi Guys,
Atlanta is back to work today after hurricane Irma.  The sun started to poke through the clouds this am and I took a few pics of my SHORT beard.    I had it for 10 months now and don't think I'll ever go back as I would almost feel emasculated at this point.  I hope all is well with this community.

That is one sharply groomed beard there. Looks great! Thanks for the update :)
Stop trimming your moustache; greater glory awaits...
but if you are going to trim, do it right, go pencil...
then, of course, a nice copstache can be cool too...

Awesome beard, very full and thick. Suits you very well. Hope all is well after Irma and no lasting damage has been inflicted to you or your close ones.
Take care and all the best

Whoa!  How is it I've missed your thread all these months since my first reply?  My loss!

You've clearly learned how to cultivate your prodigious beard in a way that suits your preferences and style and it looks terrific.  Bravo.

Now I'm just trying to suppress the urge to say "Break a leg"...

Cheers!
