Thanks Scott. My wife just came home and said it looked good and she never comments on my beard.

Bray, my stache will never be as big as yours but I can live with that.

Excellent beard and mustache you've got carguy! The haircut and fade into your sideburns was done perfectly. Really a prime example of an excellent job well done.

I usually visit other guys threads & leave comments such as ''keep growing it out'' ''making good progress,, etc: but I can only admire your consistency Mike, you know what you like & stick to your preference for an immaculately trimmed & styled beard, & I'm still envious of that moustache! Kudos to you.

Excellent trim, Mike. Sharp look for you!
Curious about the Kent combs. I guess I've always been gone for the buck pocket combs which are no big deal if lost. But I read a review on Amazon and someone said it was the best $10 he spent on a comb. They look nice but just curious if handmade is really worth it.

Thank you Bray, Stevie and bfrnr. I’m liking the trim and haircut. And didn’t remove much length so I should be a lot bigger a month from now.

I do feel the Kent combs are worth it. The basic pocket size is about $7 and it feels so good to not feel any scratching on my skin. I have a wooden comb too but don’t like it much because it is so thick. But my new barber said plastic combs are not good for longer beards and recommended the wooden ones.

On another note, we had another contest here where we voted for people in different funny categories. I ended up getting the Fashionisto award. I was surprised because there were some pretty stylish young guys also up for it.

Glad to hear you were happy with your barber - the results speak for themselves.

I agree that Kent combs are really nice. I have one I use for my hair and a detangling one for my beard. Hopefully you will find yours!

No surprise that you would win a prize for fashion - you look pretty well manicured from head to toe!

The stuff beard goals are made of. Full, deliberate, and a nice length. Well done.

@veeceejr thanks for the vote of confidence. I want you for my campaign manager if I ever run for Office. Actually, I’m already an elected official since I’m on my local school board. But in 20 years on the board, I’ve never had to run opposed.

@GatorBeard I haven’t had any luck finding that Kent comb. But my wife did find one I’d lost last year on the floor if her car :)

@gato I like clothes and own way to many (just ask my wife).

@Lefty923 I appreciate your comments. I struggle with what is the best length for my face. My beard will pretty much do what I want, but as it gets longer, I wonder if that is a good idea.

Here are a couple of pics from today. We launched a new release of the class I teach at the gym. It went well but boy was it hard! Glad we took the pic before we started.

Howdy Mike. Your trimmed beard is the best fashion statement you make daily - it dresses everything up to a T.

Do you all look as happy as you are in your promo shot after the Rip class? Sweatin' it with the Beardo is next, right? Y'all look great.

Thank you John and Scott. I guess you could say the class I teach is a second job but I look at it as a hobby with health benefits. I’m proud of the fact that all three of us instructors are over 50 and I’m over 60.

As near as I can figure i had it this long in beard 1, but as each day goes by I’m in new waters. I looked at the pic I posted yesterday and thought that the sides looked horrible, so I did a minor surface trim this morning that I’m quite pleased with. I’ll post again in a couple weeks when I’m definitely going to be at my longest ever.

Your short beard looks great. It’s a proud beard, if that makes sense :-D

Thanks Craig. I’m proud of my beard so I guess that makes it a proud beard.

Today I’m feeling big. Big beard, big mustache, big head. I always get to a point where my head feels as big as a pumpkin. But if I can get past it, I can grow a luxurious longer beard. Gotta hang tight for a while.

Fantastic trim Mike, you always look great, whatever you decide to do. I commend you for knowing what you like, and sticking to it. I am glad the new barber was satisfactory, I think the results speak for themselves. And your head is perfectly normal sized ;) keep it all up!

Best to you
