New look! I finally went all the way.Slybeard wrote:I had facial hair of some fashion since we were married, but never long until my 50's. I do not think it matters when you start, it just takes some time for wives to adjust. You cold make the changes slowly. Keep buzzing your hair frequently, and gradually go shorter and shorter. Same with the beard, keep trimming frequently, just little longer with each trim.Recently Furry wrote:Well, I'm 37. That means by your age my wife will be more than used to both things and I'll be ale to sport a very long gray beard (I have lots of gray hairs). Let's see how long it takes me to get there.
It does look great, but how is the wife with it now?Recently Furry wrote:I finally dared to go all the way and happy with the results.PMKinFTW wrote: Looks great!
She got furious, but after a week she started to get used to it and likes touching my dome. She sometimes keeps on saying she misses my hair and the way I used to look (she met me when I used to sport long hair) but I think she's kinda starting to like it. My friends and colleagues at work, however, say it was high time, cause I look better this way. And now, there's only one friend left (in my closest circle) with hair (and he will be joining us sooner or later).Slybeard wrote:It does look great, but how is the wife with it now?Recently Furry wrote:I finally dared to go all the way and happy with the results.PMKinFTW wrote: Looks great!
Thanks Ferns. You're right I feel more confident now than I was months ago. It's great to hear compliments and being part of such a great bunch of b&b guys. You're very supportive with people like me, who went from a hairy head to baldness in a short space of time.Ferns wrote: Furry - Your shave makes such a sharp difference.
