I just found my grandfather's old pipe goign through a box of his old stuff. I'm not a smoker (never have been) but I'm going to go to a real cigar/pipe shop and get some sort of beginners tobacco and smoke a little bit out of it. It may turn me into a pipe smoker...who knows
I know that face! :)63rdOVI wrote:Here's a Peterson silver-banded bent (among my many Petersons, Savinellis, and others) that I alternate with my humidor of cigars:
Excellent! Nice to see some more briar-enhanced beards! :)thesmallprint wrote: Another fellow pipe smoker here! Good to see there's a fair few of us in the forum.
We're in agreement here! Can't think of many better ways to relax and unwind than with a pipe!Doc Ed wrote: I use to love my cigars, but somewhere a few years back I started smoking a pipe and liked that better. I now have about 8 pipes and love them. Something about it that just primal. Nothing better than when I sit in my backyard and smoke my pipes. IMG_6832.jpg
Nice find!Doc Ed wrote:I found this little pipe at my local cigar shop yesterday. It's a Tom Howard and was probably made in the late 40's early 50's. It was in great condition. Just needed to clean up a little oxidation and she was as good as new! thought I'd share it here. It was a great find!
