Hey guys!

I'ts been almost a year since I have updated this, but I've been growing again for a while. I completely shaved about mid-August for a work function, but have been growing since then. I've trimmed up a couple spots a couple times to help shape my beard, and I've kept my mustache a little shorter to avoid looking too overgrown for work. It's been fun to look back and see how much my beard has developed over the past two years, my beard is thicker and I'm more confident in it than ever. Thanks again for all the support and kind words along the way!

Here we are today at about 4-5 months, minus the trimming I've done.

OMG!!!!! What a fantastic beard you got, and what a nice look you have with your beard. I hope this time you can keep it, because you have a trophy beard, and this is a beard that needs to stay. Let us know what you plan on doing, because you are one of us.
Grow on, my man.

You SHOULD be confident. The beard looks great -- as it did before, yet even better. Great shape and coloration. Welcome back; keep it growing this time, and keep us posted. Rick

Welcome back! It is always fun to see guys re-appear with their beards stronger than ever. Your beard looks great on you
Stop trimming your moustache; greater glory awaits...
but if you are going to trim, do it right, go pencil...
then, of course, a nice copstache can be cool too...

Hello everyone!

It has been a while since I have last updated. I clean shaved on July 1st of 2017, and have since been growing with very little trimming. I have occasionally trimmed my mustache back a bit, and done a little shaping here and there, but for the most part, I've really just let it grow. This is at 6 months, and I am intending to grow at least until July 1st of 2018, to complete a yeard. Good to be back and look forward to posting a little more regularly!

I have been going with the bald head beard look for a couple months now. Fresh shave and mustache trim.

Wow, that is an awesome combo for you.  Most of your previous photos show little of your head hair - are you naturally starting to go bald or did you just want to go for the shaved look?  Either way it looks great, and I bet you love the smooth feeling of a fresh head shave.

Thank you guys! I appreciate the kind words.

@Slybeard - I have shaved my head bald on and off since I was 18. I’ve always had a very receding hairline, and my hair is ever creeping towards the back of my head. I enjoy the way it feels and my wife enjoys the bald look.

Hey guys, hope all is well. I’m nearing 7 months, and it’s getting a little unkempt. Fortunately, I now am working a job where I do not interface with clients, so really not an issue. Also, went back to wearing contacts after wearing glasses for a little over 3 years.

Nice update - if you think that it's becoming unkempt, are you doing anything to counter that?  Blow dryer?  Balm?

Honestly it still looks fine to me - mine ends up looking far messier than this, but I'm used to it.

@gato - thanks for the feedback. I have been using some oil and balm to keep it contained. I’ve always been a little apprehensive to use a blow dryer on my beard.

I went to a barber shop for a head shave and a beard trim. She cleaned up my cheek and neck lines and did just a touch of fading towards my side burns. I’m always hesitant to let someone else touch my beard, but I’m happy with the results!
