Hello everyone! So, here I am at 10 weeks in! I can't believe that I've made it this far! Thanks forum! At the start of my journey, I thought I wouldn't get past a week, let alone 10! I'm really enjoying sporting a good and solid chin curtain (even if I say so myself), one that I thought I'd never be able to. I've noticed that both my stache and soulpatch are really starting to join the fun, now they're getting denser and longer, and my head hair has finally connected to my beard (BTW, I've removed a very long connector hair, as it was sticking out). Also, I'm now using jojoba oil twice a day on my face and beard, which makes them feel a lot cleaner and smoother! I would recommend it to anyone, even if it is a little expensive! I've started to let my neck hair grow, because I have a lot of bulk on my undercarriage. I am however, still continuing to maintain a cheek line, but I'm going to increase the height of it week by week, as the cheek hair comes in.

I haven't received too many comments since my last update, other than a few manly ones from the older women like "Oooh! You're grown up!" etc. But, I don't mind this, as it paints the picture that I'm now a young man, with a solid beard. Furthermore, I'd just like to say, that I'm really enjoying being on this forum. It's a great community, and I love helping guys out in this section. I'm definitely going to keep growing for the foreseeable (I'm unsure of my target beard yet, but something similar to Rag'n'Bone Man's would be nice) and of course beard on!

Your chinstrap are on fire!

Your stache are really coming along so that’s a good sign! Soon it will turn terminal and it will grow really fast!

Your neckline are perfect, I am very impressed!

So keep going and beard on dude!

Nice Will, you look great indeed! I am proud of you for sticking it out this long, that is not easy to do at your age. I think it's clear you're a natural and are simply meant to be bearded. I look forward to sharing your journey alongside you. The mental adjustment, the helpful comments, those are all signs of your bearded acceptance.

The fact it's going to improve with time is only going to continue spurring you on. I am glad that you're finding the jojoba oil is working for you skin, as I said, it tends to react very nicely with the skin. Keep using it and I promise you will notice more differences in time, as well as having great skin! I am very glad you decided to join us, this forum is now a brighter place since you started your journey. I look forward to many years of this back and forth. Enjoy and keep on growing! 🙂

Best

Oh my, thanks so much Rumen! Your replies to my thread have always been so positive and nice! I couldn't have done this without you, and a lot of guys on here. You're all just amazing, I'm so thankful that there are people like you in this world, you continue to make it sane, and without you it would be a terrible place. Yes, the jojoba oil is brilliant, thanks very much for recommending it! You haven't just made a positive mental impact, but also a physical one, too. Thank you, again! :D

I thought I'd do a little comparison, this is for the encouragment for all teens section, I reckon. ;)

For each angle, the first photo is from 12 days in, and the last photo is from today (70 days in). Yes, there have been a few amendmants on the way (carving a cheek and neckline), but I thought it'd be interesting to see! :D

Unbelievable! It just shows that time and patience is key to having a proper beard. I think I look really young in the first photos, especially for my age, but the beard has made me look older, so now think I look my age, if not slightly older. It just shows that by growing a beard, you can look a few years older, within several weeks. :)

Looking good, Will.  Chinstrap and undercarriage is solid.  Hopefully in the next several months density will expand to the rest of your beard.  Good luck!

Thanks very much, man! I'm just wondering, should I resize the photos so that they are the same size/each set fit on one line?

I agree totally with Rumen's remarks... you are becoming nicely bearded and looking a bit older... especially in that second picture... wow!!  I like the fact that you are sticking with the beard and have long term plans, because as you see, those young hairs are going terminal all the time now. It's got to be exciting for you to see your beard develop... something I never saw.  It not only helps to see your progress, but it makes you feel more manly in small steps.

I also am very grateful for your support to the young bearders... it means so much to have someone their age give them advice and encouragement.  It's also really meaningful for you to compare your development to other bearders in your remarks... it makes them feel that there are others in their same situation.  Keep up the good work.

Edit: now there you go... slipping in a new set of photos on me... anyway, the picture I was referring to is the second one in the set before this recent set.  I wouldn't go the trouble of resizing but you might make the statement about the comparison in bold or color so guys know what they are looking at.

Oh my, thanks very much for your very detailed comments, Bill! I agree! With regards to the support I give, it's not a problem, I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't enjoy/feel good about it! I love to help others! The whole experience from growing to helping others, is great! I've highlighted the relevant text in bold, so hopefully that should help. :)

i don't know if its me or just the light but your beard looks ginger in places to me, if it is thats going to look amazing! personally my favorite colour for facial hair, don't get me wrong it still looks great regardless of colour and your undercarriage is superb in coverage and definitely your strongest and most prominent feature.

Thanks, Matt! Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually ginger in places. Yeah, the undercarriage is pretty crazy, just imagine if that was on my cheeks! LOL!
