Greetings.

I did searched the old Forum responses (found some dated back to 2006) and could not find an answer...

I just replaced the turn signal switch assembly (tilt steering) as my blinkers were not working.

Turn signals now work fine. I pulled the Hazard Button and the Hazard lights flashed two or three times and quit. (Hazard lights worked before I replaced the switch.) The blinkers continue to work. All fuses in the fuse block near steering column are good.

When the blinkers are blinking the round #552 flasher "can", snapped into the plate above the glove block, clicks (as it should). The blinkers and the clicking stops as soon as I pull the Hazard button and resume when I push it in.

Is there not a second flasher, a #323?, somewhere? If so I cannot locate it. I searched under the dash near the steering column and fuse block. I looked around the area above and behind the glove box.

Can anyone tell me where to look?
Is it round or square?
Is it one of the other "cans" attached to the plate above the glove box?

As always so much thanks in advance!!!

Vernon

Thanks Rich. I assume you are referring to the yellow one above glove box and the silver one of same shape (round). ?
