RIP Mr. Bradbury

They say an alcoholic can remember his first drink. As a lifelong bibliophile, I clearly remember the very first adult book I read-"The Martian Chronicles" by Ray Bradbury, when I was ten years old, on the sofa in our house in Portage, MI. I was stunned by that book and the stories it shared about the multitudinous aspects of humanity on a foreign planet, and how our presence affected the native Martians. 40 years later, I am still ALWAYS reading a book. R.I.P. Ray Bradbury, who answered a letter I once wrote to him. Thank you for being the foundation of my love of reading.
