11551, 11552 and 11559 also on the 175 today, I must say that the new livery actually looks really well in the flesh, even the yellow front. It comes out far better in the flesh than it does in the photos. The new information leaflets at the bus stops are an excellent job as well, what is particularly beneficial is that they post the time the bus is meant to leave the particular stop like what is done in the UK rather than what time the bus leaves the terminus at, makes it so much easier for the passenger doing it like this.

I agree with you VWL119 about the new livery.  They look far better in the flesh than the photos.  With regards to the 175, it just proves that there was always a pent up demand for this service because any bus I have seen so far is very busy.

Looking at the map I can say the route is very handy indeed. A more direct and better version of the 75. Very good addition to the Dublin suburbs, even though it took about 7 years to finally happen (which is typical in Ireland I think).

I can't tolerate that livery though. It's probably better in person because you only see it from the front. The offside and nearside is an atrocity.

A focus group came up with that livery (apparently) and that was the best they could come up with. I liked they grey grabrails because it made the bus a bit more modern but unfortunately the PC brigade got wind of the colour and changed to yellow.
