While I should have been concentrating on finishing my SdKfz 251/22 for a group build on FB I somehow found time to get started on my Revell Republic Gunship.

The kit is simplicity itself to build. I gave everything a quick spray of Halfords Grey primer before I stareted so I could just ignore the painting instructions for the interior. The instructions also call out for hundreds (Slight exaggeration there but only slight) of tiny decals to be place and |I also ignored that.

unfortunately one of the upper nacelles(or whatever they are) was broken and rather than scratch build one I replaced them with some beefier looking pieces from a 1/48 modern jet armament set

That's one of the nice things about a Sci-Fi build, you've just designed the -A model :) That's probably a license to go wild with the paint scheme as well.

Looking nice so far, wouldn't mind adding one to the collection.
