The Military History Society of Ireland has organised an event in Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel on the 15th of September on “Military Aviation in Ireland – The Formative Years 1912 – 1923”. It begins at 9.30 in the morning until 16.00 in the afternoon. Lunch is provided. Tickets are free. When I booked mine last night there were still 65 tickets available.
You have to log onto the Eventbrite web site and open an account and order the tickets which were dispatched by email to me. Again the cost so far has been free.
I know that this clashes with our September meeting but I am prepared to miss the meeting for this one off seminar.
