Twice a week Lidl and Aldi get in all sorts of interesting items for their special offers. Many of these items are of use to modellers from storage solutions to tools. Even not so obvious items, like the increasingly famous revolving cake stand, are of benefit to modellers.

So, if you spot something in one of their up-and-coming catalogues or spot something while browsing their websites then please let us know and post a it up here. A link, possibly a picture, will always be helpful.

Aldi have a full size camera tripod back in stock at the moment for €14.00 and a mini tabletop tripod with twistable legs for under €5. I have both and they are pretty good

FYI
For those that are interested in aircraft, Aldi have a few specials on Sunday 16th, details here
Gift packs with Spitfire, Gazelle, Tomahawk & Gnat.
From the packaging it looks like they are the new molds with the exception of the Gazelle which an older mold but is still a nice little kit.

Cheers

Yes, guys, but these are just a couple of kits....(and Allied ones at that!) :'(

Any useful non-modelling items, that we can be skilfully adapted to modelling purposes, as per Sean's original idea?
