Oakville in Whitby..the Fury can still reach the top and shade the Blades 3-2.

Toronto Patriots in North York..the home side moves four points clear with a 5-3 win.

Georgetown in Orangeville..a clear first and a solid second in the West..Raiders 5-4 in overtime.

Buffalo in Wellington..a long trek for the Junior Sabres but no result. Dukes 4-2.

Milton in Burlington..this could be very ugly or very tame but it looks like the Cougars have conceded..IceHawks 8 Burlington 4.

Mississauga in Toronto Junior Canadiens..J.C's have my vote by a 6-4 count.

The Dukes/Junior Sabres game has been postponed.
Matt Fischer scored twice in the third period including the game winner as the Fury beat the Blades 4-3. The Barrie native now has seventeen for the season. Jeremy Wu had three assists giving him 31, number one in that department for defensemen.

Will Reilly had two goals to lead the Rangers past the Toronto Patriots 3-1.

With Oaville's loss and North York's win the two teams are now tied for second in the South just two points behind the Patriots.

Mark down shutout number two on the season for Raiders' goalie Jack LaFontaine. He saved 35 shots. Goals from Blake Jones (10), Brendan Jacome (15) and Anthony Marra (13- into the empty net). It was Georgetown's 24th. win.

Officiating is always bush in Whitby, and like usual if the visitors have a lead going into the third you know the officials will get very creative in their calls. Unfortunate the league does not step in seeing it is widely known, really is a travesty to allow it continue year over year.

Very entertaining at 7 minutes left in regulation when Sciammarella of Orangeville taking on Emerson of Georgetown. You don't see many bouts where the players throw caution to the wind in throwing haymakers, but this was a good one especially seeing both players were game and no one is hurt.

It was almost like someone threw a switch in the 3rd period in Whitby and official's got the spotlight turned on them. I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it for myself....Blades deserved a number of their penalties but at least 3 were bush.....Kirkup gets up smiling after the phantom slash (thought Canadian kids were above the diving) and then Blades d-man finishes his check and super-ref calls him for roughing when Erickson of Whitby gave as good as he was getting and got nothing. Joke.

This is the kind of sh_t that gives this league a black eye. I repeat, brutal.
