To set the record straight about the incident that happen at our building last night. First of all we would like to apologize for what happen. There was a older gentleman that had a stroke this past year and he came to the show with his daughter and his grandchildren. He was sitting by the jukebox and during the first match toward the end everyone heard a big bang. We were all surprised and started looking around. The gentlemans daughter ran to him and picked the gun up off the floor and headed for the door. He had the gun in his pocket and the gun fell out and hit the floor and went off. Thank god nonone was injured. It was a freak accident and this could have happened anywhere. The gentlemans son is a police officer in Ironton and he stated he has asked him to leave the gun at home. To no suprise the gentleman doesnt want to give up his independance and refused to leave it at home. Had BTW staff known he had the gun we would have never allowed him to enter our building. We would never put anyone at risk that chooses to attend one of our events. We do sincerly apologize and that's all we can do. We are choosing to move forward from this situation and hoping the future is good. We ask all of our fans to be understanding and realized this was not our fault and that this same man could have been next to you in the restaurant, grocery store or even Dr. Office and his gun fell out of his pocket and went off.
We thank you to all our fans who are understanding and forgiving.

The gentleman was arrested and charged with Wanton endangerment times how many people was in the building. Big Time Wrestling will continue with their shows at the scheduled regular times.

Thanks
Freddie Cornell

Good to hear nobody was hurt.

There are too many guns in Huntington already without more people bringing them into town. Makes me a little glad I don't live there.

They already need metal detectors in all the bars and clubs in town, are we gonna have to get them at all the wrestling shows too?

Just to set the record straight again. For anyone who wants to check this out go ahead. The gentlemans name was Richard Pruitt and he is around 60+ years old and his son who is an Ironton Police officer his name is Jamie Pruitt. He use to be a proctorville police officer.

And yes if you would like to ask anyone that was there as soon as the gun hit the floor his daughter ran up to him and picked the gun up and started for the door. She was stopped and detained until the police got there.

The gun was a 22 Darringer half cocked.

Once again sorry for the situation that happened.

Thanks
Freddie Cornell

Listen, eagle is good not great, getting better yes. He is young give him time to get better he doesn't have fat freddie telling him everything to do so now the kid will do good I personally think btw as a whole is a joke you work there if you can't get booked anywhere else, are in highschool, or are so green you don't know any better. I don't even think he has any actual trained workers on his shows don't know when he ever has actually freddie should be buying a ticket to watch wrestling not claiming to be the best booker in buisness
