lease try to keep in mind that when posting in the Help Forum it is often a great idea to put exactly what you need help with in your topic title. You should try to avoid using titles such as "Help" or "Question" as it is often too vague of a description. You should also try to be very specific in what you need help with, this will help to lessen the time it takes for others to find the correct answer for you. Lastly, do not feel shy or be afraid to ask for help because that is what we are all here for. Imythess is a community that cares about its members and is always looking to lend a helping hand whenever necessary.

In order for the staff to help as many people as possible, we'd prefer you avoid PMing your questions to staff members when at all possible.

Tournament Question

Upon seeing the recent tournament event posted by Snellopy, I found myself struggling over whether or not to participate (PvP isn't my strongsuit). And then the thought popped into my head that if I could RP Pyx in this event, he would probably be the one running the tournament pool.

.....Tournament pool. Tournament pool? Tournament pool!

Question for Imy staff: Assuming there is interest, would you be open to allowing Pyx to run a tournament pool in a parallel IC topic, and supporting the betting of player gold on the tournament outcome? There could even be mini-challenges for the participants to earn gold from the pool (e.g., herald the next fighters). No house profits are proposed - all gold would be re-distributed among the betters/participants.

I see a number of obvious "cons" to this suggestion, including: (1) I'm new-ish here and not a ST, and (2) it would be extra work for Imy staff to oversee and support. I actually suspect that this idea likely isn't feasible.

But it does sound fun, and heck, it never hurts to ask, right? ^_^
