Has anybody been up the Granjean Trail toward Baron Peak? Just wondering the trail condition / snow depth.

This is looking NNW from Cramer almost two weeks ago. Warbonnet is just left of center and Baron is visible behind it to the left. Continuous snow on the east side generally wasn't until 6500, I would assume a bit higher now. I'd say expect rapidly melting patchy snow above 6500 or so. Go out and let us know.

whoops, meant to say warbonnet is quite a bit left of center and baron is behind it to the right.

Looks snowy! Thanks! I plan on trying for Baron in a week or two and will make sure to post when I return.

Maybe these photos from the North side will give you an idea of what to expect on the West side.

1" of new snow at the trailhead increased to 8" higher up. Would have been great powder skiing if it was cool and breezy, but instead it was a bit too warm. So no real skiing was done, but nevertheless a fantastic day to be in the mountains.
