Hot and dry in Boise? Then, it's time to head for the coolest peak in the Lemhis, the Riddler.

The Riddler and Diamond Peak.

George and the SE Face of the Riddler.

Moon over a natural arch and waterfall on Big Boy Peak.

John on steep talus.

Heres one register that was missed.

Looking South.

That is some wild terrain. Way to go, guys.
So what was the trout finding like? Straightforward, or did you have to do a few dead-ends?

You were correct about the trout finding. We left the truck with nearly empty water bladders hoping to save weight. Little did we know, there is no water on the east side of the Riddler. We wandered the woods searching for water (and trout) to no avail and ultimately ended up camping in that pretty little meadow, the last comfortable spot. The only water was far up the hills in small snowbanks. As far as the climb goes, there were no route finding problems.

Pat/George,

Would you guys be willing to post a Class rating for your ascent route?

If not, I can respect that. If you choose, my email is md57mtnative at roadrunner dot com and I will keep it on the down low.

Michael
