Anybody planning any hikes the weekend of Oct. 15th and wouldn't mind another tag a long, again? I will be childless. If not, anybody interested in tooling around Glacier with me?

The Jedi Master may not be able to climb both peaks in a day, even with THE FORCE. Kane Creek is between DBW and DBE making ascents of both in a day very difficult. It would take a very BIG effort. Good luck.

How big can this creek be?? In Tom Lopez's book he said the it is only 1.5 miles between the to peaks.

The creek is tiny. It's the vertical gain/loss that I am talking about. Look at a map. It's ~2000 feet up the NE side of DBW and ~3000 feet up the SW sided of DBE. Both are steep from Kane Creek. I am not saying they can't be done in a day. Simply stating it won't be a cakewalk. Try it and report back.

That is only 5,000 feet last time I checked Borah was 5,400 feet in less than 4.5 miles and people do it all the time in a day.
