I saw this on Facebook and thought someone here might know the answer? If not, at least it is entertaining...

Zoomed in spot on the photo. What is that? Too hard of edges to be a snow drift.

Zoomed in spot on the photo. What is that? Too hard of edges to be a snow drift.
It's way too symmetrical and lacks any shadowing, like somebody (accidentally?) drew a line in a photo editor...

The original photographer posted this on their facebook page.
I sent a message and requested they post it on the Lost River Range Facebook page, and they did.
I've loved the image, the lighting is just right for the picture. It's too bad this one white blotch steals the show.
Personally with out it, I'd like to have the photo framed and hanging in my office.
