What no pistols for sale? It's hard to pack a rifle when bagging peaks!

I carry three these days. My big S&W 50 (the hold maker) can turn a blank section of rock into an easy 5.4 with a few well placed shots. Heck, it doesn't weigh anymore than a Bosch drill for bolt holes and it doesn't need batteries. Old HMker balances out the weight of the pack on my back so I hardly notice it. The two side pieces (marmot plinkers) round out the load. I've never gotten over those furry little rats stealing my coffee while 15 miles back in the Winds.

How much does your full-faced shield, steel-toed boots & hearing muffs weigh... Or do you just go old school and close your eyes, curl your toes up and plug your favorite ear with your unused trigger finger?

The extra-long-barreled S&W .500 also makes a handy trekking pole-if you're not to fussy about damaging your muzzle crown on the rock. Nice Photoshop work Bob!
