Cache Peak in Winter?

Anyone done Cache Peak in the winter? Seems like it wouldn't be too technical or avalanche-prone, but how are road conditions? How close can you get in a 4WD vehicle? In case there's more than one, i'm referring to Cache Peak in Cassia County. Thanks!

Not technically in winter, but it was on skis.

With todays rain, most snow is gone below 8,000 feet. I live 30 minutes away from Cache and I've always wanted to climb it. Now that I live in the same county, I guess I better git up thar.

I spoke with a lady on Mount Bierstadt, Colorado (of all places) last June that climbed Cache in May. She said it was post hole hell, even with snow shoes. So maybe going now before the snow is rotten is better?
