Gotta' love S-facing powder on a cold day with low sun angle.

Happy New Year!

May 2011 bring you more powder and good times with fellow skiers!

As one who posts snowboarding / skiing photos on occasion, it's nice to see some from somewhere else. Very nice! More?

Bluebird for sure! Wishin' I was there!

There are always more! Thanks for asking, Biglost.

Here's another from the bluebird day:

Although not quite as good as the bluebird day, there have a been a couple decent ones since then.

The inversion settled in:

causing surface hoar to grow in abundance:

It stayed cold at first, so turning remained good:

But then it warmed up and the snow quality deteriorated. Still worth getting out there and flying around, though:

When the snow quality went bad, it was the perfect time to go to the real mountains for a scenic tour:

Hoping the snow in the forecast can freshen things up a bit.

Was that last photo of yours taken in Iron Creek in the Sawtooths?

Agreed, great shot! Those are some amazingly big hoars, new snow might make for some spooky conditions.

From this weekend. I don't have Jim's cool action shots, though.

When the wind wants snow from one side of the mountain to the other, it usually gets it's way.

The Sickle looking good.

The terrain above Marshall had some point releases from the previous day.

A bit of Blue and Orange.

KB's still needs a foot or two...
