Ian’s bank balance will be getting a top up this year if he decides to go ahead with new album, music sales and some ticket sales are guaranteed.

Mani, Reni and Squire have all backtracked and are pushing for summer reunion gigs, the trio are willing to give in to Ian’s demands of new material. Ball is in Ian’s court.

Horseshit.

So he's not recorded it yet? Or he has and he'll decide not to release it if the others say yay to his demands. And the record company will happily scrap the release.

And the solo shows that will have been booked by now will be cancelled too. Or not. Either way, the venues don't care. Or the promoters.

And the group reunion gigs in the summer can be booked less than 2 months in advance. Because they're just waiting for Ian to grab the ball that's in his court.

Dick.

Not this summer obvioisly, next summer and there will not be any ian brown gigs until at least next summer regardless of what he decides to do. Some people seem to believe there is a new completed album which is not the case. Nothing has been recorded that does not feature the rest of the Stone Roses

Sorry, it's just that you wrote...

"Ian’s bank balance will be getting a top up this year if he decides to go ahead with new album, music sales and some ticket sales are guaranteed. "

What you meant was next year. Even though you wrote this year. And meant this year. But then realised you'd messed up. Right?

Sorry. I must be senile. Or stupid. Or both. I could have sworn you said... Ian’s bank balance will be getting a top up this year if he decides to go ahead with new album, music sales and some ticket sales are guaranteed.

I'm guessing the music sales relate to the album that would have to be recorded this year for his bank balance to get the top up you metioned. Unless people pay in advance and he records and releases it next year? Which is what everyone does right?

Berk.
