Zero model 21:
I hope I am helping. The A6m2 model 11 did not have folding wings. The A6m2 model 21 introduced folding wingtips. Basically, 20 inch wingtip panels were added so that the wingtips could be folded and therefore more storage space could be created beneath the carrier deck. This is according to Squadron/Signal Pulications 59 A6M Zero in Action.

were added and 'folded' from the existing wingspar.
The model 32 just removed that 20 inch wing tip and added a nice aerodynamic wing tip.
The RUFE kept the 21 wing fold equipment and made the fold 'fixed'.
