Gentemens;

The title says it all once again.

I'm not sure which Eastern Bloc companies) made a kit of this tractor in 1/35th scale but I remember that it was universally felt to be awful.

Interestingly, now I find myself "jonesing" for one of these natty little kits after acquiring the the Tankograd "Tayagashi" Soviet Tractor book.

If you have one of these horrid kits and find it surplus to your needs, I can help!

Many thanks in advance;

Was first put out by AER but also sold by Tom, Toga, Eastern Express and more recently Parc model.

Hobby Terra is good to deal with and you won't beat $11.50 for the kit.

If you want to spend a bit more, ADV/Azimut makes a much better resin kit.

I just built one of the AER kit and it is a nightmare. Molding is poor and the brittle plastic and cramped sprues make removal of the parts difficult. Half of the suspension parts were either already broken, or broke getting them off the mega sprues. Fit of the main components was also awful, so you will have to do a lot of puttying and sanding. Since you will sand off all of the rivets, be prepared to add a few hundred one at a time with stretched sprue. In the end the kit looks fair. It is a composite of different versions of Komsomolets tractors. The rear/exhaust area is 100% fictional and must be entirely rebuilt. The shape and detail of the cab is not much better. The kit is engineered so that the center troop seats fit upside down/backwards too.
